As with all the instruction your child will receive here at Jamaica Elementary School, homework will be differentiated. That means that homework will be given according to your child's learning level and individual needs.
Below are some items that need to be practiced, read, or studied to better prepare your child for Friday's tests:
1. Read 20-30 minutes EVERY day. 2. Spelling words need to be studied EVERY day. Some ways that you can can help your child study them include: a. Write them 3x each b. Write them in sand or in shaving cream c. Spell them out loud and use them in sentences d. Write them in sentences e. Use colored pencils/markers to trace/write them 3. Read weekly words EVERY day. 4. Practice math facts 5. Check purple folder for any extra homework
